-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for patent disclosure:

- No one declared a patent.

AR Review:

- Anders create example IBIS file with golden waveforms
  - TBD, long term

New items:

Continued review of the IBIS Quality Specification:

5.3.2	{LEVEL 3} I-V tables have correct typ/min/max order
- Moshiul: DDR3 has compensation, can make the curves nearly overlay.
- We accepted this check with minor typographical edits.

5.3.3	{LEVEL 3} I-V tables have reasonable numerical range
- This is marked for deletion
- IBISCHK warns above 10 amps
- Bob: Extrapolate at lower slope instead of truncate
  - Usually limit at a couple of amps
- Bob: Sometimes waivers are appropriate.

We changed checks 5.3.2-10 from LEVEL 3 to LEVEL 2

5.3.8.	{LEVEL 2} I-V tables do not exhibit stair-stepping
- We discussed causes of stair stepping
  - Mostly number truncation artifacts.
  - Bob: Some devices can have one or more real steps.
- Minor clarifications made to the text.

5.3.9.	{LEVEL 2} Combined I-V tables are monotonic
- Updated comments regarding IBISCHK and file versions.
  - Parser bug 94 fixed now.
- Added warning that IBISCHK reports only first violation.

5.3.10.	{LEVEL 3} [Pulldown] I-V tables pass through zero/zero
- Better explanation of zero/zero.
- How to word table votage vs. real voltage.
- Moshiul: Does 0V have to be in the table?
- Mike: IBISCHK uses 1uA as the standard for non-zero current
- Comments about ODT should not apply to a Pullup/Pulldown check
  - Mike: Some models use ODT cancellation in Pulldown instead of Submodel
- Minor clarifications made.

5.3.11.	{LEVEL 2} [Pullup] I-V tables pass through zero/zero
- New check added
  - Pullup needs this check as much as Pulldown does.
- We copied from 5.3.10

AR: Mike post 1.1ag IQ spec version

Moshiul: IQ does not cover [Series MOSFET]
- We will discuss this next meeting

Next meeting:

05 Aug 2008 11-12 AM EST (8-9 AM PST)

Meeting ended at 12:01 PM Eastern Time.
